The night of Halloween
Yesterday I got a call from my best friend Carlos who is living in New York. He told me that last weekend they celebrated Halloween and he felt like he was in the middle of a film. Carlos said that the streets were jam packed with people dressed up as wizards, witches, monsters… But of all the things he told me, it was hilarious to learn that the children carried wheelbarrows decorated as coffins.
Carlos also told me that he dressed up as a vampire, his wife Rosario dressed up as a mummy using rolls of toilet paper and their son dressed up as a devil with a pitchfork. Then they put a few decorations on the dog so that he looked like a werewolf and they took a photo that they sent to me in an email.
Honestly, the photo actually looked like it had been staged. There was a full moon and bats were flying around to it, while the clouds looked like ghosts. I would have thought that it was from a photoshoot if I hadn’t noticed Carlos’ dog devouring some sweets in the photo.
