Looking for Juliet
Ramiro is about to premiere his first play as a director. It’s a classic: Romeo and Juliet. The role of Romeo has already been cast, but he’s still missing an actress to play the female lead.
He doesn’t know many actresses, so he’s going to hold auditions. To publicise these auditions, he’s putting up posters all over town with a picture of his ideal Juliet: red hair, big blue eyes and, most importantly, a warm smile and cute dimples in her cheeks.
There are just two months to go until the premiere and there’s still so much to do. Not only does he need his lead actress, he also needs a rehearsal space. His theatre company is doing renovations at the moment, so their facilities are unavailable.
This play means a lot to Ramiro. He’s a very detail-oriented director and he wants everything to go according to plan.
The walk through town to put up his posters does him good; he gets some fresh air while he tries to organise all the work that he has to do. But the question that preoccupies him the most is … who will be his Juliet?
