El señor y la señora González pasan las vacaciones en un hotel. En la recepción serán recibidos por la recepcionista.

Recepcionista: Buenas tardes. Bienvenidos al Hotel Imperio.

Señor González: Buenas tardes. He reservado una habitación.

Recepcionista: ¿Cuál es su nombre?

Señor González: Joaquín González.

Recepcionista: Un momento, por favor. Mmm… Usted ha reservado una habitación individual.

Señor González: No, señorita. Yo reservé una habitación doble.

Recepcionista: Ah, cierto, una habitación doble. Por favor, rellene este formulario de registro: apellido, nombre, dirección y firma.

Señor González: … Aquí tiene.

Recepcionista: Esta es la llave de su habitación. Tienen el número de habitación 412. La habitación se encuentra en la 4a planta. El ascensor está aquí mismo, junto a la recepción. Pero pueden entrar a su habitación en 20 minutos; la señora de la limpieza está aún limpiándola.

Señor González: De acuerdo. Entre tanto vamos a ir a tomar un café. ¿Hay por aquí cerca alguna cafetería?

Recepcionista: Sí, hay un café a la vuelta de la esquina.

Señor González: ¿Podemos dejar aquí nuestras maletas?

Recepcionista: Por supuesto.

Señor González: Gracias, hasta luego.

Translation

At a Hotel

Mr and Mrs González are spending their holiday in a hotel. At the reception they are greeted by the receptionist.

Receptionist: Good afternoon. Welcome to the Hotel Imperio.

Mr González: Good afternoon. I’ve reserved a room.

Receptionist: What’s your name?

Mr González: Joaquín González.

Receptionist: One moment, please. Mmm… You’ve reserved a single room.

Mr González: No, madam. I reserved a double room.

Receptionist: Ah, of course, a double room. Please, fill out this registration form: name, surname, address and company.

Mr González: … Here you go.

Receptionist: This is the key to your room. Your room number is 412. The room is on the fourth floor. The lift is right here, next to the reception. But you can only enter the room in 20 minutes, the housekeeper is still cleaning it.

Mr González: OK. Then we’ll go for a coffee while we wait. Is there a cafe nearby?

Receptionist: Yes, there’s a cafe just around the corner.

Mr González: Can we leave our cases here?

Receptionist: Of course.

Mr González: Thank you, see you later.

Receptionist: See you later.
