Mercadillo en casa

¡Se acabó el verano! Mi padre y yo hemos abierto el armario de la ropa de invierno y… ¡tenemos demasiada ropa! Hasta el gato tiene su propio cárdigan.

Queremos montar un mercadillo en casa para los vecinos. Venderemos ropa y ofreceremos chocolate caliente y galletas gratis.

Yo quiero vender unas manoplas y un cinturón. Mi padre tiene gorros y bufandas de lana a juego de todos los colores.

Margarita, la vecina de enfrente, es muy coqueta. Le ha dicho a mi padre que quiere comprar un conjunto en morado.

Luis, un amigo de mi padre del club de tenis, quiere comprar su chubasquero con capucha de color gris para ir a pescar.

Mi abuela nos hace un jersey a toda la familia todas las Navidades. Algunos tienen motivos navideños. Son muy bonitos, pero a mí ya no me valen.

Me gustaría quedarme con un pantalón de pana. ¡Ah, bueno! Y también con unas orejeras amarillas. ¡Son muy calentitas!

Translation

Flea Market at Home

Summer is over! My dad and I opened the winter clothes wardrobe and … we have too many clothes! Even the cat has his own cardigan.

We want to host a flea market at home for our neighbours. We’re going to sell clothes and offer free hot chocolate and biscuits.

I want to sell some mittens and a belt. My dad has woolly hats and matching scarves in every colour.

Margarita, the neighbour across the street, is very well-dressed. She told my dad that she wants to buy a purple outfit.

Luis, my dad’s friend from the tennis club, wants to buy his grey hooded coat to go fishing.

My grandmother makes a jumper for the whole family every Christmas. Some of them have Christmas motifs. They’re very nice, but they don’t fit me anymore.

I‘d like to keep a pair of corduroy trousers. Oh! And some yellow earmuffs. They’re very warm!
